Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers and Heavy equipment.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes.
Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness work area.
Collaborate with the drivers to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs.
Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks, Heavy equipment Vehicle/Specialized in Volvo trucks
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
Good experience for engine cooling system flushing.
Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers.
Checking the machine’s technical condition before mobilization.
Electrical and electronic troubleshooting background on earth moving equipment.
Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
Assemble gear systems and align frames and gears.
Fit bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
Requirements:
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
In-depth knowledge of industry and its place on the market
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
Excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities
Fluent communication, reading and writing in English
UAE driving license
High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree would be a plus
At least 3 years’ worth of experience in the field
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
Strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Bonus points if you have experience in the freight and transport industry and able to communicate fluently in Urdu
